Restaurant Fire at Westquay, Southampton

Yesterday evening, 9 July, fire crews responded to a fire at a restaurant in Westquay, Southampton. The incident began shortly after 7:30pm and was contained to the kitchen area.

Firefighters from St Mary’s, Hightown, Redbridge, Eastleigh, and Southsea stations attended the scene. Three hose jets were used to extinguish the fire, and ventilation fans were deployed to clear smoke from the premises.

Crews returned to their stations following the stop message shortly after 9:00pm.
