Online formsThe HIWFRA is the supervisory body responsible for ensuring that the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service (HIWFRS) performs efficiently and in the best interest of the public and community it serves. HIWFRA is a Combined Fire and Rescue Authority (CFA) constituted under section four of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004.

The HIWFRA combination scheme order 2020 is the piece of legislation that sets out how the four constituent authorities of Hampshire County Council, Isle of Wight Council, Portsmouth City Council and Southampton City Council will work together as the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Authority.
