How to contact usWe’re excited to announce the launch of two innovative programmes aimed at empowering young people and fostering safer communities. These programmes, DRILL and IMPACT, are part of our Early Intervention Programmes, designed to reduce the future need for emergency services by equipping young individuals with essential life skills.
The DRILL programme targets students in years 9, 10 and 11. It focuses on building personal resilience and helping young people make safer choices.
Through a series of engaging activities and challenges, participants will learn about the consequences of their actions and the importance of making informed decisions. The programme also includes practical firefighter activities, such as running out hoses, providing a unique and hands-on learning experience.
Aimed at young people aged 16 to 25, the IMPACT programme offers a similar blend of educational and practical experiences.
This programme is designed to support participants in developing the skills necessary to positively impact their local communities. By embedding safety messages and lessons on choices and consequences, the IMPACT programme helps young people develop their confidence and sense of responsibility.
