Firefighters rescued a man stuck in mud near to the Totton bypass this morning.
Crews from Redbridge, St Mary’s, Fareham and Cosham were alerted shortly after 11am to reports of a man stuck up to his knees in mud.
Water and mud rescue teams used specialist equipment to reach and rescue the man who was passed into the care of SCAS paramedics to be treated for minor injuries.
The stop message came in at 12:29.
