This Policy sets the Fire Authority’s commitment to meet its statutory responsibilities to secure the provision of services and equipment efficiently to meet all normal requirements, and how it will manage its physical assets (including land, buildings, plant, vehicles, workwear, equipment, infrastructure and other items of distinct value). For the purposes of this policy, the term ‘assets’ relates to physical assets only and not people.
This is the Fire Authority Position Statement for Estate Design and forms part of the Fire Authority Asset Management Policy.
The Statement of Accounts has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).
