This notice confirms that the audit of the Fire Authority’s 2022/23 Statement of Accounts has concluded.
This report from the auditors provides information about the outcomes of the audit of the Fire Authority’s 2022/23 Statement of Accounts.
This Statement seeks to provide an accessible way in which communities, central government, local authorities, and other partners gain assurance of our Fire and Rescue Authority’s performance for the financial year 2023/24. It aims to provide assurance that the Authority is meeting the priorities it has set itself in the Safety Plan 2020-2025. The publishing of the Annual Assurance Statement is a requirement of the Fire and Rescue National Framework for England 2018. The HIWFRA annual assurance statement is structured to describe the assurance mechanisms in place in support of our five Safety Plan priorities: Our Communities, Our People, Public Value, High Performance and Learning and Improving.
This strategy outlines Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service’s (HIWFRS) approach to carbon reduction and the projects and projected pathway towards net zero from 2025 - 2030.
Each UK fire and rescue service must create a Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP). Ours, called the Safety Plan, outlines our proposals for the five years to ensure a high-quality service for Hampshire and Isle of Wight.
