The Annual Governance Statement is a legal requirement and has been prepared in accordance with CIPFA guidance. It sets out how the organisation has reviewed and maintained its governance arrangements during the year, ensuring it operates effectively, transparently, and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This document is in draft and awaiting signing. It has been published to comply with statutory requirements for the publication of draft accounts. The final signed version will be published in due course and will replace this draft.
The purpose of this constitution is to set out in a single place and in clear language how Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Authority (HIWFRA) (“the Authority”) works and how it makes decisions.
