Late night shed blaze tackled by Southampton firefighters

Two fire engines from Hightown and one from St Mary’s were called to a shed fire on Sheridan Close at 1:42 yesterday morning (18 August).

Hampshire Police were informed and attended the scene due to a possible cause doubtful.

The shed was fully destroyed in the blaze which was stopped using four sets of breathing apparatus and two hose reels.

Crews returned to station at 2:44 following the stop message.
