Large Industrial Fire in Aldershot
Firefighters responded to a significant fire at an industrial unit located off Eastern Road, Aldershot. The fire was first reported shortly after midnight on 1 January 2025.
More than 50 firefighters were on the scene, working tirelessly to extinguish a fire within a two-storey industrial building. The blaze had spread across two units, with crews employing two aerial platforms, twelve breathing apparatus sets, two jets, and a hose reel to contain it.
At the height of the operation, 8 fire engines, 2 aerial ladder platforms, and other specialised vehicles were actively engaged in the response.
The incident was scaled down to two fire engines and one aerial platform ahead of the stop message at around 3:30am.
Police officers have provided a scene guard to facilitate a joint fire and police investigation into the cause, which is set to take place later today

Firefighters are currently responding to a significant fire at an industrial unit located off Eastern Road, Aldershot. The fire was first reported shortly after midnight.
At present, 8 fire engines, 2 aerial ladder platforms, and other specialised vehicles are on the scene working to contain the situation.
We strongly advise residents in the area to keep windows and doors closed to minimise exposure to smoke. Additionally, please avoid the area to ensure emergency vehicles can move freely and operations can proceed without obstruction.
