Crews tackle early morning warehouse blaze in Bordon
On-call firefighters were alerted at 3:34am on Saturday after security staff spotted smoke emanating from the warehouse on Budds Lane.
Crews from Bordon, Liphook, Alton, Petersfield, Rushmoor and Surrey FRS were in attendance.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus used hose reels and jets to tackle the fire before using ventilation fans to clear smoke.
The aerial ladder platform and a water carrier were also required to attend before relief crews took over from firefighters who were first on the scene.
The incident was handed over to the building’s manager before HIWFRS returned to station following the stop message at 9:08.
