Crews called to two-car motorway collision in the early hours

Crews from Winchester, Eastleigh and Redbridge were called shortly after midnight following a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the M3 southbound carriageway between junctions 8 and 9.

Firefighters worked to release one casualty from a vehicle before he was handed over to paramedics.

A second casualty was treated by South Central Ambulance Service paramedics prior to HIWFRS leaving the scene at 1:27.
