Boat-building warehouse fire tackled by crews
Firefighters were called to a warehouse used for building boats at Port Hamble Marina in Satchell Lane, Hamble, at 10:23 today (Friday 27 August).
Crews from St Mary’s, Hightown, Eastleigh and Fareham attended and extinguished a fire using four breathing apparatus, main jets, and hose reel jets.
The owners of the business have been thanked for evacuating the building quickly and working with HIWFRS to make sure everyone was accounted for and safe. If there is a fire you should get out, stay out and call 999.
