This weekend our very own Andy ‘Mitch’ Mitchell is putting his strength and skills to the test as he takes on the Gladiators.
The Winchester firefighter swapped fighting fires for battling Gladiators in September when he took part in filming in Sheffield.
Andrew Mitchell said:
“In my role as a firefighter it’s important that I stay at the peak of my fitness which naturally helped me in the arena.
“I love to push myself and face new challenges which is why taking on the Gladiators was an exciting opportunity for me.
“I really enjoyed the whole experience, and am looking forward to watching it back and seeing my kids, family, friends and colleagues find out how I got on!”
