Online formsThe United Kingdom Rescue Organisation (UKRO) is formed and run by practitioners predominantly from within the Fire and Rescue and Medical sectors with a passion for advancing professional rescue.
The UKRO team is made up of both serving and recently retired rescue and trauma professionals. The dedicated team of volunteers come from across the UK to share their knowledge, skills and experience.
Each year UKRO holds the ‘Festival of Rescue’ bringing together the UKs rescue services, testing and developing their skills to serve the public. This year the festival is being hosted by Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service.
The United Kingdom Rescue Organisation (UKRO) “Festival of Rescue” will see expert fire crews from across the UK come to Portsmouth and Eastleigh to test their skills across a variety of challenging scenarios. Teams will compete to be the best at vehicle extrication, rope rescue from height, water rescue, and trauma care. There will also be a fire cadets’ challenge.
