Vehicle fire damages nearby homes

Rushmoor firefighters were called to a fire involving three vehicles on Sebastopol Road in Aldershot which spread to nearby homes.

Multiple calls were received by Control and Police closed off the road while crews extinguished the blaze using one hose reel jet and one foam jet.

Firefighters worked to dampen down the scene, before checking the nearby properties, which had suffered heat and smoke damage to the balconies and windows of three flats adjacent to the fire.

HIWFRS left the scene following the stop message which came in at 21:45.
