Romsey firefighters called to overturned lorry beneath railway bridge
Firefighters from Romsey were called to a lorry on its side beneath a bridge on Greatbridge Road at 10:40 this morning.
No persons were trapped and no hazardous materials were involved, as further crews from Redbridge, St Mary’s and Cosham were stood down.
The road was closed by Hampshire Police, as firefighters liaised with Network Rail officers due to the train line on the bridge.
HIWFRS left the scene and returned to station at 11:55 following the arrival of the recovery company.
