Overturned lorry prompts call out for Hampshire and Surrey firefighters
Hampshire and Surrey crews were called to an overturned lorry on the southbound carriageway of the A3 yesterday afternoon.
On-call firefighters from Grayshott and Liphook were joined by Surrey crews near to the Hindhead tunnel shortly before 3pm.
The driver managed to self-extricate from the vehicle before being assessed by South Central Ambulance Service paramedics.
The incident was left with Surrey Police before crews returned to station at 15:38.
