One casualty released from over-turned lorry

Firefighters from Andover, Whitchurch, Winchester and Basingstoke, were called to the A303 east, near to the Walworth roundabout at Bullington Cross, at 09:47 today (16 July).
One lorry was on its side and crews released one male from the vehicle. He was handed over to colleagues from South Central Ambulance Service.
Diesel and engine oil had leaked from the vehicle, but the spills were contained close to the source and did not enter the water system.
Our crews stayed on to make the scene safe before handing the incident over to the police.
