North Baddesley shed fire spread to neighbouring homes
A shed fire spread to two neighbouring properties in North Baddesley.
Fire crews from Eastleigh, Redbridge, St Mary’s, Beaulieu and Hightown were called to West Lane at 11:38am on Saturday and worked quickly to prevent the fire from spreading further.
But the shed was destroyed and damage was caused to two neighbouring homes.
A fire investigation concluded that the most likely cause was refracted sunlight igniting combustible materials in the shed.
The stop message was received at just before 3:20pm and firefighters gave community fire safety advice before returning to station.
