We were called to reports of people trapped in mud at Sarisbury Green at just after 5pm on Tuesday.

Crews from Hightown, Fareham and Cosham were in attendance.

Mud paths were laid to rescue the two individuals who were then passed into the care of paramedics.

Firefighters then remained on scene to decontaminate equipment before heading back to station.

On Wednesday evening, Havant firefighters were called to support Coastguard partners after a paddleboarder became stranded in mud off from Langstone Road.

Coastguard teams were able to reach and rescue the paddleboarder, before HIWFRS assessed and treated him, before he was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service paramedics.
