Hampshire and Berkshire firefighters tackle static home blaze
Tadley and Basingstoke crews were called at 10:46 to a fire involving a static home at a farm on Browninghill Green in Baughurst.
On arrival firefighters found the static home well alight and further vehicles were requested to attend from Rushmoor, Fleet and Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
A couple of dogs were removed prior to the arrival of firefighters, but two parrots were unable to be saved and a number of cats were unaccounted for.
Crews liaised with the RSPCA and Environment Agency before the blaze was extinguished using 10 sets of breathing apparatus, three jets and four hose reels.
Fire Investigation Officers attended to conduct an investigation before crews left the scene following the stop message at 14:33.
One crew will return later today to check the static home, which was destroyed by the fire, for any further hotspots.
