Fordingbridge firefighters free occupants from property with exit blocked by fallen tree

Fordingbridge firefighters were called at 5.11am after a large tree had fallen onto the annex of a property on Salisbury Road in Burgate, blocking the exit stairway for two occupants, who were uninjured.

The crew used battery saws to cut away the tree and gain access before making the scene safe.

HIWFRS returned to station following the stop message at 5.54am.​
