Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters entered the property to extinguish the fire using hose reels and jets.

The remaining crews at the scene continued to carry out checks.
The incident stop message was shortly after 2pm. A crew may still be visible in the area carrying out routine reinspection’s and offering community reassurance.
The fire is most likely to be caused by a concave make up mirror placed too close to glass in the sun. This incident is a reminder of the dangers of leaving mirrors in direct sunlight.
