We were called at 08:47 to reports of a tumble dryer on fire at Redbridge Towers.
Crews from Redbridge, St Mary’s, Eastleigh and Hightown have attended and used two breathing apparatus and one jet to put out a fire in a flat on the 14th floor.
The dryer has been removed to the foyer.
HIWFRS delivered community safety messaging to residents following the stop at 09:45.
