Firefighters deal with blaze at derelict Southampton building
Crews from St Mary’s, Redbridge, Hightown, Eastleigh, Romsey, Beaulieu, SHQ, Portchester, and Fareham dealt with a fire in a derelict building, on Tennyson Road, Southampton, on Sunday night.
Fire Control was alerted just before 17:40 following reports that the building was well-alight.
Flames could be seen coming from the roof and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used jets and hose reels.
The building was 100 per cent heat and smoke damaged.
The stop message came in at 21:18 and fire investigators are due to visit on Monday to determine a cause.
