Crews attend house struck by lightning in Andover.

Firefighters from Whitchurch, Overton, Winchester, Basingstoke, Rushmoor, with support from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, were called to Andover at 4:38 this morning. This was after a house was struck by lightning during last night’s storm. Two semi-detached houses were severely damaged from the strike. A 70-year-old female was assessed by ambulance crews on the scene but was not taken to the hospital. One ariel ladder platform and two  45mm jets were used at the incident.
