Casualty cut out of vehicle on its side in Nettlestone road traffic collision

Ryde firefighters were called out to a road traffic collision on Nettlestone Green in which one casualty required to be removed from a vehicle on its side.

Crews used cutting equipment to safely extricate the casualty, who was conscious but was treated and checked over by paramedics.

No casualties were trapped in the other vehicle involved in the incident and HIWFRS remained on the scene to clear up debris, prior to leaving the scene at 14:00.
