A massage gun sparked a fire whilst on charge at a house in Andover

Two crews were alerted shortly before 1am on Tuesday morning.

The appliance which had overheated and caught alight, was extinguished prior to the arrival of HIWFRS.

Firefighters used ventilation fans to clear smoke from the premises before conducting a home fire safety visit.

The stop message came in at 1:09am.

Ensure your electrical items are charging safely by using the correct charger, not left it unattended, or on charge overnight, and to ensure the device isn’t damaged in any way.
