Firefighters at Romsey Fire Station are opening their doors for a jam-packed day of fun and fire safety. The community open day will take place on Sunday 12 June and provide residents with the chance to visit their fire station to gain insight into the wide-ranging role of a firefighter.
The festivities will take place between 10:00-16:00. There will be entertainment for children as well as fire and rescue demonstrations, showcasing the latest equipment used by firefighters to help keep Romsey and the surrounding area safe. They will be joined by colleagues from Ambulance Service, Hampshire Constabulary and Environmental Agency.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service open days are fun for all the family but also provide an opportunity to learn more about a host of safety matters from home to road safety.
Your local crew looks forward to seeing you there!
