Storage container blaze tackled by Southampton firefighters

Fire crews from Redbridge and St Mary’s were called to a fire involving plastic storage containers on Wimpson Lane at 4:07pm on 22 March.

The blaze blew out a nearby flat window as it destroyed the containers, before being extinguished using hose reel jets.

Hampshire Constabulary colleagues were informed due to it being believed the fire was set deliberately.
