Portsmouth firefighters tackle large blaze involving several vehicles

Crews from Cosham, Southsea, Havant and Portchester were called last night at 22:21 to a workshop garage on Burrfields Road following reports of several vehicles alight.

The blaze which destroyed three motor homes, a large van and caused external damage to the building itself, was extinguished using six sets of breathing apparatus, three jets and two hose reels.

Firefighters left the scene following the stop message shortly after 23:30.
