New Forest firefighters tackle large bonfire in Holbury

Firefighters from Hardley fire station were called to a large unattended bonfire near Ipers Bridge in Holbury.

The on-call crew were on the scene shortly after 8:30 last night.

One hose reel jet was used to stop the blaze from potentially spreading to nearby trees and vegetation.

Firefighters returned to station at 21:08 after extinguishing the fire and sending back the stop message.
