HIWFRS and RSPCA team up to rescue snake from garden in Portsmouth
One of the HIWFRS animal rescue specialists were called to a garden in Portsmouth this afternoon after a large cornsnake was found underneath the shed.
Working alongside an RSPCA inspector, the HIWFRS officer attended the property on Ranelagh Road after a call from the police at around half 12.
The shed was dismantled to free the two-metre long snake before it was taken onto a specialist vet by the RSPCA whilst the animal’s owner is found.
