Firefighters respond to aircraft crash near Popham Airfield
Last weekend firefighters were called after a light aircraft collided with trees near to the runway at Popham Airfield in Micheldever.
Two casualties were released from the vehicle and treated for minor injuries by South Central Ambulance Service paramedics.
Crews from Overton, Andover and Basingstoke were alerted at 13:42 on Saturday 6 August and were on the scene to clear up an aviation fuel leak.
The scene was made safe and the incident handed over to Hampshire Constabulary before the stop message came in at 15:13 when further crews en route were stood down.
