Tadley and Basingstoke crews were called to a fire in the woods at Wigmore Common at 18:17 yesterday evening.
The 100m-x-100m area of woodland was quickly surrounded and hot spots dampened down using hose reels, jets and beaters.
Crews left the scene at 20:10 before Tadley firefighters returned to the scene at midnight and again at 6am to conduct reinspections.
