Crews respond to small fire at Southampton university building

Firefighters were called to University Road, Southampton, at 16.45pm following an alarm sounding in a university office building.

A small fire involving a diesel spillage was quickly detected and put out, with the incident soon handed over to the university.

The stop message was received at 17:38 and our crews began returning to their stations.
