Control take over 40 calls to timber garage ablaze in Blackwater

Control received over 40 calls to a large timber garage fire on Fernhill Road in Blackwater, Camberley this evening (29/04).

They mobilised firefighters from Winchester, Rushmoor, Yateley, Hartley Wintney, Bastingstoke and Bordon and were joined by firefighters from Surrey FRS’s Chobham station to tackle the blaze that had engulfed the large timber structure by 100% fire.

Alongside firefighting crews, Fire Investigation were called to the scene to assist.

Crews used 2 BA, 3 hose reels, 1 jet, monitors and CAFS to control the fire.
