Our Fire Safety Inspectors have received some fantastic feedback that shows the quality and professionalism of the service they deliver across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
To ensure we are supporting businesses to the highest level, we regularly review the quality of our fire safety inspections and audits. We also request feedback from businesses and RPs (Responsible Persons).
A fire safety inspection involves a professional check of a building to ensure that all legal fire safety regulations are met. A Fire Safety Inspector will check fire safety equipment is in working order and confirm escapes plans, to prevent fires and ensure safe evacuation in the event of an emergency. They will also identify any potential fire hazards and concerns so these can be addressed and resolved by the RP.
Findings from recent feedback (June – November 2025) showed that 100% of businesses/RPs ‘strongly agreed’ or ‘agreed’ that our Fire Safety Inspectors took the time to understand the needs of their business, were professional, polite and courteous, and provided them with clear, reliable advice which supported their business.
