Wight Brainy Bunch and Ryde Fire Station Christmas market

This year’s Wight Brainy Bunch Christmas market is being held at Ryde Fire Station on 6 December from 10:00 to 16:30. The celebrations end with a switch on of the drill tower Christmas lights which can be seen from all over Ryde and half way over the Solent, and considered by many to be the start of the festive season in Ryde.

At this year’s event there will be over 25 festive stalls selling all things Christmassy, seasonal refreshments such as traditional bratwursts sausages, hog roast, mulled wine, mince pies and hot chocolates. As always there will be the inflatable globe, a variety of local musicians, choirs, marching bands and orchestras and not forgetting their Santa and grotto – with many proclaiming it is possibly the best on the island!

Over the years since it first started in 2017, events have attracted hundreds of residents from the Isle of Wight and has raised thousands for the Wight Brainy Bunch.
