Sutton Scotney Fire Station 50th anniversary open day

Come and join firefighters at Sutton Scotney as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of the fire station.

An open day to mark the milestone will take place on Saturday 9 July and provide residents with the chance to visit their fire station to gain insight into the wide-ranging role of a firefighter.

The festivities will take place between 1pm- 4:30pm. There will be entertainment for children as well as fire and rescue demonstrations, showcasing the latest equipment used by firefighters to help keep Sutton Scotney and the surrounding area safe. 

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service open days are fun for all the family but also provide an opportunity to learn more about a host of safety matters from home to road safety.
