Female Focused Recruitment Open Day Hightown Fire Station- Booking essential  

Interested in becoming a Wholetime Firefighter?   

Come to our recruitment open day at Hightown fire station on Saturday 27th June and learn more about the role and get hands-on with firefighting equipment.   

This particular session is especially aimed at women who may be considering a career as a firefighter, recognising that firefighting isn’t necessarily a career that many women would initially consider.  

We want women to feel encouraged and empowered to join our Service, supported with their application, and throughout their time with us. On the day, you’ll receive the same core information about the role and recruitment process, along with the chance to take part in practical activities. There will also be opportunities to hear from female firefighters and get tailored advice on areas such as fitness and life on station. 

Booking is essential. There will be a 10am and 2pm session to choose from.  

Booking opens a week prior to the event (Friday 19th June). Spaces fill up fast so save the date and watch this space for a sign up link.
