Ewshot property fire extinguished by crews

Firefighters extinguished a property fire in Ewshot.

Rushmoor, Odiham and Surrey FRS crews were alerted at around half three yesterday afternoon (27 May).

The building was well alight when firefighters first arrived on the scene.

Three casualties were treated for smoke inhalation.

This fire is believed to have been caused by a portable air conditioning unit.

Firefighters in breathing apparatus used hose reels, jets and ventilation fans to tackle the fire before the stop message came in at 17:27.
