How to contact usAs a new owner or manager of a small business, the fire safety law for the workplace can seem quite daunting. This tool has been designed to give a fun and interactive experience and at the same time give you a general overview of your responsibilities following a fire risk assessment on your premises. As you work your way around your workplace, correcting the identified issues and making it safer, you will be tested on your general fire safety knowledge.
Now test yourself and see what you already know
Please note: There is a requirement for the user to set up an account with a password when using the tool for the first time. Although there are several information boxes that registration asks for, you are only required to complete the email, password and local fire and rescue service parts for access. You can then log on directly to the tool if you want to revisit. Note that the tool does not save your password and there is not a function to reset it, so please ensure you remember your password if you want to use the tool more than once.
If you are having trouble controlling movement around the tool, please look to reduce the sensitivity of your mouse.
This tool is for general fire safety awareness in the workplace, it is not intended as training tool for completing a Fire Risk Assessment.
This Fire Safety Awareness Tool was developed in collaboration between NFCC, Eyecademy and 925 Studios at Northampton University, with funding provided by the Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Regulators Pioneer Fund.
