Hampshire teams up with leading law firm to protect public

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service has teamed up with one of the UK's leading legal firms to provide vital life-saving advice to businesses

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service has teamed up with one of the UK's leading legal firms to provide vital life-saving advice to businesses.

The primary authority partnership will see Hampshire supporting Ashfords LLP in giving bespoke regulatory advice to customers and clients, helping them comply with fire safety regulations.

As the only law firm in the country to offer such a service, Ashfords will work with local authorities to offer a single service for businesses looking for expert guidance.

Dave Curry, Chief Officer for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, said:

"We are delighted to have formed this pioneering partnership with Ashfords LLP.

"By utilising their existing business portfolio, we hope to achieve meaningful risk reduction and public protection across England and Wales, while meeting better standards of regulation."

Ashfords is also teaming up with other local authority experts to provide advice specialist advice in areas such as health and safety and environmental health.

Ashfords has more than 70 partners and 500 staff, spread across offices in London and through the south, including Exeter, Bristol, Taunton, Plymouth and Tiverton.
