The fire involved an oven and a duct.
Everyone was out when three crews from St Mary's and Redbridge arrived. They used breathing apparatus and hose reels.

|08/07/2017 06:51||Man found dead after Bishopstoke house fire||A man has been found dead following a house fire in Bishopstoke.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to the property in Escombe Road at 6.51am today (July 8) and informed by the caller that a person was believed to be inside.
Three engines from Eastleigh and St Mary’s, and a support vehicle attended and used breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and tactical ventilation to extinguish the fire on the first floor of the terraced house.

|06/07/2017 13:51||Crews tackle Farnborough bus blaze||Firefighters were called to a bus fire in Gifford Drive, Farnborough.
The rear engine compartment of the 25-seater Stagecoach bus was destroyed in the fire.
Nobody was on the vehicle which was at a bus stop near a supermarket.
Two crews from Rushmoor attended and four sets of breathing apparatus and two high pressure hose reels were used to extinguish the fire.
Crews then damped down before passing the incident to the bus company.

|05/07/2017 10:34||High-rise cooking fire in Southampton||Fire crews have extinguished a blaze in a high-rise flat in Southampton.
The fire was caused by a wok containing oil which had been left on the stove and was put out in less than an hour.
The fire and the building behaved as expected and the stay put policy of the building owner operated as it should.
It was confined to one flat on the 15th floor of Albion Towers, in Golden Grove, and nobody was injured in the incident.

|04/07/2017 15:20||Man suffers burns in Baughurst caravan fire||A man suffered facial burns after a caravan caught light on a Baughurst street.
Crews were sent to Fair Oak Way after several calls received by the Control room, reporting a large plume of black smoke.
Around 20 firefighters from Basingstoke, Rushmoor and Tadley arrived to find the fire had spread to two nearby houses.
They used jets and hoses to prevent any severe damage to the properties, but the caravan was destroyed by the fire. Three sheds were also damaged by the fire.
|04/07/2017 07:54||Oil spill on busy Farnborough Road||Crews from Rushmoor and Alton assisted two crews from Surrey in stopping a leak in an articulated fuel lorry on the A331 in Farnborough.
Approximately 30 litres of crude oil was leaked from the vehicle before crews used putty, 30 white absorbent pads and six metres of blue absorbent roll to stop the spillage.

|01/07/2017 15:30||Gym, workshop and garden centre damaged in Whitchurch fire||About 30 firefighters battled a blaze after a van fire spread to a large commercial building.
The fire started in the vehicle and spread to the nearby single-story property.
The vehicle was completely destroyed while the timber-framed building was partially damaged by fire and smoke.
The building was split into three parts; a gym, a garden centre and a vehicle workshop.
Five crews attended from Whitchurch, Overton, Sutton Scotney, Basingstoke and Winchester.

|17/06/2017 03:47||Man dies in Southampton house fire||Crews were alerted to a mid-terrace property split into two flats, on Winchester Road, Southampton at 03:47. A female was woken up by embers falling into her bedroom, from the ceiling. The resident of the flat followed our exact advice, get out, stay out, call 999.
Crews from Redbridge, two from St Mary’s and one from Hightown attended. They used six sets of breathing apparatus and three hose reel jets, to tackle the fire.

|12/06/2017 18:09||E-cigarette suspected cause of Tadley car fire||Firefighters were called to a car blaze in Tadley on June 12.
The fire is believed to have been caused by an e-cigarette left on charge.
The front of the car was scorched and melted in the fire and the vehicle was also severely damaged by smoke.
A crew from Tadley Fire Station attended and used a dry powder extinguisher to put out the flames and a thermal imaging camera to ensure the scene was safe.
The car was parked in Bishopswood Road.

|09/06/2017 12:28||Fire crews tackle car blaze on M3||Crews have attended a three-car crash which included a Ford Focus on fire.
Firefighters from Basingstoke and Andover attended the incident on the M3 Northbound between junction 8 at Popham and junction 7 at Dummer.
The vehicle was completely destroyed.
Foam, a dry powder extinguisher, a hose reel and two sets of breathing apparatus were used to fight the fire. Nobody was trapped.||Popham
