Firefighters discovered two separate seats of fire on the patch of land at Browndown, so were forced to fight the flames from multiple locations. 17/07/2018 13:27Firefighters rescue man from roof in Farnborough house fireMore than 50 firefighters were called to a house blaze in Alexandra Road, Farnborough. Eight engines from Rushmoor, Fleet, Hartley Wintney and Surrey Fire and Rescue Service attended with numerous support vehicles. The aerial ladder platform was also on the scene. 17/07/2018 12:15Large area of gorse scorched in New Forest fireA large area of gorse and bush has been destroyed by fire in the New Forest. At its height, around 45 firefighters tackled the flames just outside Holbury. An area the size of approximately 50 football pitches was affected by the fire. No-one was injured and no properties affected. The fire was out by 3.23am. The cause of the fire is not yet known, Rollestone Road

15/07/2018 10:46Joint partnership working in a race against time to save young deer from the seaWe were called to reports of a deer trapped in the sea between Southsea Aquarium and the Southsea Castle. The Coastguard secured the shoreline and moved crowds back. One of our Animal Rescue Advisers was picked up from the beach by the RNLI and taken to where the deer was 200m off the shore. A passing boat tried to aid the rescue and lasooed the deer unfortunately drowning the 3 year old Roebuck. 14/07/2018 15:17Pilot and passenger walk away from light aircraft crash in WinchesterCrews from Winchester, Bishops Waltham, Eastleigh and Redbridge responded to Morestead Road where a light aircraft had crash landed into trees and bushes on farm land. The pilot and passenger both men, self rescued before crews arrived at the scene. Both men were assessed by South Central Ambulance Service but didn't require hospital treatment. 10/07/2018 13:11Sixty-acre field fire tackled by firefightersMore than 30 firefighters were called to a 60-acre field of standing crops and stubble alight near Winchester. Appliances from Winchester, Eastleigh and Service Headquarters were called at 13:11 with further Land Rovers and other support vehicles coming from Alresford, Basingstoke, Fareham, Andover and Lyndhurst. 06/07/2018 17:36Portsmouth pub evacuated after fire in flat aboveCustomers in a Portsmouth pub were forced to put down their drinks after fire broke out in the flat above it. Crews discovered smoke in the building on the The Hard and found the fire in the first-floor flat. There was no-one in the property at the time and crews in breathing apparatus used hoses and jets to extinguish the flames within an hour. Firefighters from Andover, Dorset and Wiltshire, Sutton Scotney, Stockbridge and Winchester were called at 01:11. 04/07/2018 01:44More than 50 firefighters attend high-rise bin chute fire in PortsmouthMore than 50 firefighters attended a bin chute fire in a Portsmouth high-rise building. Crews were called to Handsworth House, Somers Town at 01:44 and the fire was out in under an hour. Firefighters used six sets of breathing apparatus and three jets to tackle the fire which affected the 15th and 16th floors. The crews from St Mary's, Redbridge, Hightown and Eastleigh tackled the blaze on the balcony of the fifth floor flat in Sirocco block B, Ocean Village, Southampton.
