Woman dies in Fareham flat fire
Description of Incident
A 56-year-old woman has died following a fire in Fareham. 
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a flat fire at Minden House on Redlands Lane ‪at 00:04 this morning (January 11). 
Two Fareham crews alongside Cosham and Portchester crews attended the incident in a ground floor flat of the three-storey building. 
The firefighters used four sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reels and tactical ventilation to extinguish the fire. The stop message was received ‪at 01:37. 
The female was brought out of the property by fire crews who then administered emergency first aid before being taken on to hospital by South Central Ambulance Service. 
A fire investigation will now take place to establish the cause. 
A working smoke alarm in the property alerted a passer-by to the blaze, who then dialled 999.
