Crews from across New Forest tackle roof blaze
Description of Incident
New Forest crews have been called to put out a roof fire at a property in Portmore near Lymington. 
 
The detached bungalow fire was first reported at 13:20 with vehicles from Lymington, Beaulieu, Ringwood, Brockenhurst, New Milton, Hardley, Hythe, Burley and Eastleigh called to the incident. 
 
Six sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reels and two jets were used to extinguish the blaze before the number of appliances in attendance was scaled back. 
 
The roof suffered 50% damage from the smoke, 25% damage from the fire and 25% water damage. 
 
The stop message came in at 15:23 this afternoon.
