An 80-year-old man was found to be suffering from smoke inhalation and South Central Ambulance Service attended.
A dog was rescued and given oxygen by HFRS.
Two hose reels, a jet and two sets of breathing apparatus were used.

|18/12/2017 14:36||Shirley Road fire tackled by Southampton crews||Multiple crews from Hightown, St Mary's and Eastleigh fire stations were called to a shed fire to the rear of a commercial property on Shirley Road in Southampton yesterday (18/12/17).
Flames and smoke were issuing from the building when crews arrived, with Fire Control receiving several calls to the incident.
A Fire Investigation Officer was alerted to the fire, and the Police were called to attend for traffic management.

|13/12/2017 04:53||Crews tackle Liphook workshop fire||Firefighters from Liphook, Bordon, Grayshott and Rushmoor fire stations were called to an agricultural fire in a woodwork workshop on Lynchborough Road, Liphook in the early hours of this morning (13 December).
The building, consisting of one floor, suffered 100% damage from the fire as two cylinders were removed from the risk area.
The stop came in at 08:21 after two hose reels and three hose reel jets were used to stop the fire, before crews began dampening down the scene.

The fire in the bedroom of a detached property involved bedding, with two elderly residents led to safety from the scene.

The detached bungalow fire was first reported at 13:20 with vehicles from Lymington, Beaulieu, Ringwood, Brockenhurst, New Milton, Hardley, Hythe, Burley and Eastleigh called to the incident.
Six sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reels and two jets were used to extinguish the blaze before the number of appliances in attendance was scaled back.

|13/11/2017 21:43||Hampshire and Dorset crews tackle New Forest silo fire||New Milton, Lymington and Eastleigh firefighters joined crews from Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service to tackle a fire involving grain drying machinery and a silo in Beckley.
After locating the fire, crews wore breathing apparatus to empty the silo of grain.

|09/11/2017 20:59||Fire spreads through Andover terrace||A pair of terraced houses were badly damaged after a severe fire in Andover.
Crews were called to King George Road when the fire started in a bedroom of one of the properties.
The flames spread through the roof space of the house into a neighbouring home, but around 30 firefighters worked to ensure the fire was contained only to the two properties.
A high pressure lance and hoses was used to tackle the fire, which was dealt with by 11pm.

|09/11/2017 09:21||Passengers evacuated as bus catches fire on Portsmouth hill||A fire in the engine of a bus caused the evacuation of its passengers on Portsdown Hill Road, Portsmouth.
The double decker burst into flames just after 9.21am on Portsdown Hill Road and everyone was taken off the vehicle.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus used hoses to extinguish the fire in the engine compartment and a fan was also used to move smoke.
