|30/03/2018 12:15||Crews rescue man and his dogs from kitchen fire in Southampton ||Hightown and Redbridge crews tackled a kitchen fire in a mid-terraced property on Nursery Road. A 63 year old male was rescued by crews and taken to Southampton General by South Central Ambulance Service, for minor burns and smoke inhalation.
Two dogs were rescued from the property. One dog was resuscitated by crews at the scene. Both dogs are now in the care of a local vet and being treated for smoke inhalation.

|28/03/2018 01:41||Fire on the dance floor in Portsmouth nightclub||Vehicles from Southsea, St Mary’s, Portchester and Cosham, including the Aerial Ladder Platform, were called to a fire on the dance floor at a nightclub on Guildhall Walk in Portsmouth.
Everyone was safely evacuated from the premises after the fire involving ducting was discovered.
The blaze on the second floor of the three-storey building resulted in smoke logging throughout the nightclub.

|26/03/2018 09:36||Fire crews rescue two cats in Portswood kitchen fire||Three crews from St Mary's and Hightown attended a flat fire in which the kitchen was destroyed.
Other parts of the home were badly damaged by smoke.
The fire broke out in Portswood Road, Portswood.
Two cats were rescued by crews and given oxygen before being handed on to vets.
Firefighters used four sets of breathing apparatus, a hose reel, a jet, an ultra high pressure lance and tactical ventilation to tackle the blaze.

|19/03/2018 17:04||More than 120 firefighters tackle large thatch fire in Ampfield||Crews from across the county have attended a large thatch fire in Ampfield.
There were 25 engines and several support vehicles, including two aerial ladder platforms, at the scene.
At its peak about 170 emergency service personnel were in attendance and appliances came from 25 fire stations across Hampshire.
The blaze broke out about 5pm on March 19.

|06/03/2018 12:23||Bookshop blaze in Southampton tackled by fire crews||Firefighters were called to a large blaze inside a bookshop on Above Bar Street in Southampton.
Appliances from St Mary’s, Redbridge, Hightown, Eastleigh, Service Headquarters and Fareham fire stations attended the incident which saw thick black smoke emanating from the shop.
The store was safely evacuated and there were no reports of any injuries.

|06/03/2018 01:20||Firefighters tackle Lee-on-the-Solent high street shop fire||Firefighters from across Hampshire were called to a fire in the high street of Lee-on-the-Solent in a building used as a shop and flats.
Crews from Gosport, Fareham, Southsea, Portchester and Cosham tackled the fire in the roof space of the three-storey building in the early hours.
Further crews from across the county arrived to relieve the firefighters who were first on the scene and had been working throughout the night.

|03/03/2018 19:49||Historic cottages devastated by fire near Andover||Fire has devastated two period cottages in a picturesque Hampshire village.
The fire started in the thatched roof of the adjoining properties and spread to the two floors.
Thankfully no-one was injured in the incident.
At its height, more than 70 firefighters from Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire were needed to tackle the blaze.
However, the work of the crews prevented the flames spreading to another neighbouring property.

|03/03/2018 12:11||Chandler’s Ford house damaged after fire starts in log pile||A house in Chandler’s Ford was damaged after a fire spread from a log pile.
Crews from Eastleigh, St Mary’s, Hightown, Winchester and Redbridge were called to Thornbury Wood just after 12.10pm.
More than 20 firefighters used a high-pressure lance, as well as hoses and jets, to tackle the flames.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
The fire had started in a log pile behind the house’s garage. It spread to the garage and then also into the roof space of the bedroom above it.

The fire affected the ground floor workshop and first floor office.

|15/02/2018 03:51||Children rescued from Southampton flat by firefighters||Two children were rescued from a first floor flat after a fire in a Southampton shop early this morning (February 15).
Two adults and a dog were also led from the flat above the shop by firefighters in breathing apparatus.
The group were taken to Southampton General Hospital for precautionary check ups but suffered no serious injuries.
